International Exhibition in Morocco

International exhibition “Solar Expo 2019” dedicated to the use solar energy and energy efficiency in Morocco and Africa was held on February 26-27 in Casablanca. About 100 companies that represented more than 20 countries of the world attended this exhibition.

JSC KIEP also visited this exhibition. The Institute was represented by Mr. A. Fomenko, Business Development Manager and Mr. Martin J. Yegov, the Head of International Department.

A brief dialogue with the Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Morocco was arranged during this exhibition. Preliminary agreement as for elaborating the ways aimed at arrangement of cooperation between JSC KIEP and the Ministry of Energy was reached in course of the dialogue with the Minister.

During the visit to this exhibition, the preliminary negotiations were held as for cooperation with the exhibitor, represented by the Company CW Energy Turkey, being the manufacturer of solar photovoltaic panels. As a result of the B2B meeting it was preliminary agreed that representatives of the company should come to JSC KIEP in April-May during their visit to Ukraine in order to discuss the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation and signing of cooperation agreement.
